Competing With The Big Boys
The dream of business ownership and the freedom of "running your own show" often crashes into the reality of competing for talent, and handling all those nonproductive (but necessary) details. That talent is often swayed by big company benefits and at least the illusion of security.

Here's the "nub": outsourcing lets smaller companies compete. Quality HR outsourcers, for example, offer Fortune 500 level benefits, while offloading benefits admin & assuming fiduciary responsibility for the plans - at very cost effective rates. Plus, they're experts. Most small-medium sized business owners are not. Who can honestly say they really enjoy the time they spend shopping for employee benefits every year? If so, I want to party with you!
Here's what the AJC said about HR outsourcing:
In actuality, human resource outsourcing (HRO) is considered by many to be the fastest-growing sector of outsourcing. According to a study conducted by the Yankee Group, HRO, a $52 billion industry, will jump to $75 billion globally by 2009. Additionally, the study shows that HRO is expected to grow at an annual pace of 10 percent over the next decade.
Uh, that's $75 billion - with a B - by 2009. Pretty big market, eh? Is it time to consider offloading the non-productive tasks in your organization to the specialists? Could be one of your best moves in 2007.
